LESTARI ROOM

1. Use of this room is limited to the UTHM staffs, as well as staff and student’s society or club (supporting document from the faculty or Student Affairs Office is required).
2. Use of this room is for seminar, conference and other academic activities only.
3. Use of this room is limited to the following period:
a. Everyday from Sunday – Saturday, except public holidays.
b. Duration: 8.00 a.m. to 10.30 p.m.
c. Maximum period is 3 days. Extension of time depends on the availability.
d. Subject to the library service hours.
4. User should place bookings at least 3 days prior to the time of use, subject to availability, by calling the Circulation Counter: 07-4533318, or directly make reservation at the counter.
5. User should inform booking cancellation through any channel above.
6. Use of this room is limited to 80 users at one time.
7. User is not allowed to have treats or feast in this room.
8. User must ensure the followings are complied before leaving the room:
a. Switch off the light and air-conditioning.
b. Return all the furniture and other equipments to their original location.
c. Return the key and any other equipment borrowed at the Circulation Counter.
d. Make sure that there is no personal belonging and trash left in the room
9. User who lost the room key will be fined RM200.00.
10. Any damage to equipment while using this room should be reported to the library. Please contact technician: 07-4533313 or Circulation Counter : 07-4533318.
11. User who causes damages to the furniture and equipment intentionally or negligently has to pay compensation to the library.
12. The library is not responsible for any loss or damages of personal belongings while using the room.
13. The library is not responsible for any accident or injury that occurs while using the room.
14. The library reserves the right to withdraw the facilities provided if the user is found in violation of any rule of using this room.
